Reyds Refrigeration repairs and services industrial Snomaster ice machines across Carletonville. Whether your machine has stopped making ice, is leaking, producing less than usual or showing error codes, a technician covering Carletonville can diagnose it on-site.
Could be a failed water inlet valve, a scaled-up evaporator, a faulty bin thermostat or low refrigerant. A technician checks water supply, freeze cycle and harvest cycle to isolate it.
Often caused by dirty condenser coils, blocked water filters, high ambient temperatures or a worn compressor. Production is measured over a full cycle before any parts are replaced.
Leaks usually trace to a cracked water line, a blocked drain, a faulty pump or an overflowing reservoir. Left alone, leaks damage flooring and trip electrics.
Old water filters, a dirty bin, mould in the evaporator plate or stale water lines. The machine is descaled, sanitised and filters replaced.
Electrical faults on the compressor, fan motor or control board can trip breakers. Do not keep resetting — the fault needs proper diagnosis.
Ice stuck on the plate points to a faulty hot gas valve, harvest sensor or timer. The machine runs constantly without dropping ice.
Grinding, buzzing or knocking can indicate a failing auger, worn bearings, a loose fan or compressor problems. Early repair avoids full motor failure.
Modern machines report water, temperature and board faults as codes. A technician reads the code, confirms the underlying fault and clears it after repair.
